·         The cadets will return on Friday, June 16th, 2017 around 1130-1200.

3. Head east on SW 12th Ave/NE 30 St/Robert Philpot Way toward NE 202 Terrace

4. Turn left onto State Hwy 335

5. Turn right onto W Hwy 318/W Co Hwy 318

6. Turn left onto US-301 N

7. Turn right to merge onto FL-20 E/NE 6th Ave/SE Hawthorne Rd toward Palatka(Continue to follow FL-20 E)

Prerequisites for Promotion

  CORPORAL Promotion Requirements

Held the rank of PFC for 9 weeks (May be waived by CDR/JROTC Instructor)

Demonstrate proficiency in marching an Unarmed Drill Squad

Demonstrate proficiency in preparing for and conducting a Squad Inspection

Demonstrate caring for others by helping/training others (observed by JROTC Instructor)

Correctly define and use all the Cadet Creed, all JROTC ranks and the Preamble

No disciplinary actions/unexcused tardies within 3 months

Daily/Weekly Inspection Scores of 90 or above

Have a Cadet Challenge at Regt. HQ

JROTC Grade of 70 percent or better

Overall weighted GPA of 2.00 or higher

 

SERGEANT Promotion Requirements

Held the rank of CPL for 9 weeks (May be waived by CDR/JROTC Instructor)

Demonstrate proficiency in leading a PT session and marching an Unarmed Squad

Supervises all cadets assigned to them/ensures they meet all requirements

Participates in a minimum of 2 color guards

Participates in an approved extracurricular activity

No disciplinary actions/unexcused tardies within 2 quarters

Daily/Weekly Inspection Scores of 90 or above

Have a Cadet Challenge at Regt. HQ

Have a Minimum of 3 parades

JROTC grade of 85 percent or better

Overall weighted GPA of 2.0 or higher
